Living, or living forever?

When was the last time you were lying on your back, staring at the sky, with a great big idea in your head, and were actually convinced it was possible?

You've had those moments right? So what really happened? Why did you stop? I bet practicality and daily life hit you, right? Its like waking up from a magical dream (or was that a glimpse of reality, of the future?)

Yet, the people who are usually miserable, penniless, 'crazy' and naive, are the exact people who live forever in riches and glory- in books, in minds, in inspirations. We all know that. But we still forget that lazy sunday afternoon on grass watching the clouds. Or that breezy star gazing night, when we had that great big crazy idea, that unexplained flash of energy...

Safe like Sheep?

When we were kids, things were easier. We could be our own selves and still be called 'cute' and endearing. Now we never actually say or do what is on our minds. We say and do, what best fits the scenario.

We just want to get by. Anything else is considered naive. We just want to fit in, please, conform, no questions asked.

Are we getting safer, or dying slowly? Or is it just me?
